Operation Timothy

Operation Timothy has been a proven discipleship tool of CBMC for years. It’s designed to build a solid Biblical foundation into the lives of believers - whether he is a seeker with lots of questions, a new believer, or a man who’s been walking with God for many years. This powerful discipleship method has been proven over decades, with many thousands of participants, to deepen their walk with Christ.

This life-on-life brotherhood was lived out in practical daily accountability, teaching of the scriptures and simply “doing real life together.” Paul’s investment into Timothy’s life helped Timothy to grow into a mature believer who went on to be a tremendous leader and pastor in the first century church.

Along with your Timothy, you will search the Scriptures and commit many Bible passages to memory. Both of you will gain a better understanding of God’s plan for your life, and most importantly, you will develop a deep, intimate relationship with Christ.

The manuscript was originally designed to:

help me overcome the incredible pain of my divorce which occurred over 15 years ago by the author
Be a useful tool to help persons in our divorce recovery program.

It is used as a part of the curriculum for the Divorce Care divorce recovery program at White River Christian Church, Noblesville, Indiana.

It was reviewed by several persons including pastors and lay Christians prior to release to the public.

The purpose of this manuscript as written in the document is to:

Present biblical reasons for divorce
Understand from a male perspective about divorce and its impact on one’s man life.
Realize that recovery from a divorce is a process.
Potentially reduce the number of divorces
Help men and women be the scriptural husbands, wives and parents God intended.

The manuscript describes only the author’s views. It in no way is a justification for the divorce or an explanation of the reasons of the divorce. It took nearly seven (7) years to prepare after the author’s testimony was shared at College Park Church, Indianapolis, Indiana.
